I always turned right at the intersection at the end of my country road. I always turned right, except on this particular day, I turned left. One decision and in the blink of an eye, my life changed forever.
As I turned east and the late September sun crested the hill, my windshield was flooded with blinding light. How was I to know beyond the light was my neighbor, beyond the light was heartache, beyond the light was healing, and beyond the light were miracles.
We all search for forgiveness. How do we forgive ourselves and know that we are truly forgiven by God? How to we find beauty in the ashes? What does it mean to let go and let God? Sometimes the light is blinding so we cannot see the end of the road and we must reach up and trust that God has the bird’s eye view.

Peyton Adams is a wife, mother, teacher, and life coach. At the age of thirty, she was involved in a fatal accident that shattered her confidence and subconsciously placed her in a prison of guilt and shame.
